Many projects with unavoidable impacts to resources require compensatory mitigation to offset those losses as part of the permitting process. Knowledge of community types in Florida are integral to the success of a mitigation plan; our goal is to provide a viable mitigation plan based upon that knowledge, site-specific conditions, and regulatory criteria. We have compiled many mitigation plans for a diversity of project impacts, from shoreline and freshwater wetlands to seagrass to nearshore hardbottom to mangroves to dune vegetation to agency-determined secondary impacts. Monitoring plans are critical for determining the success of the mitigation, and Ardea has the capability to perform many post-construction environmental monitoring services required by permit and associated with mitigation.
