For beach-sited projects, assessments of dune vegetation may be required for issuance of Coastal Construction Control Line (CCCL) permits or Joint Coastal Permits (JCP). These vegetation surveys can be done to document pre-construction conditions, to document any protected plant species, or to assess planted dune vegetation post-construction.
