Environmental Permitting

Many activities sited in coastal, shoreline, or wetland-adjacent are regulated by state and federal agencies such as Florida Department of Environmental Protection, the many Florida Water Management Districts, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service, National Marine Fisheries Service, and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. Maintaining professional working relationships with local, regional, state, and federal regulatory agencies and scientists is of utmost importance to every project. We strive to establish and cultivate positive working relationships with all agency staff members assigned to our projects.

Whether your project is small or large and complex, we can help navigate you through environmental regulations permitting process or provide those services to you.

Collectively, we have nearly 50 years of environmental permitting experience in Florida, Alabama, and Texas. Our primary focus is Florida, where we provide expertise to projects requiring Coastal Construction Control Line (CCCL) permits, Joint Coastal Permits (JCP), Environmental Resource Permits (ERP), and Mangrove Trimming permits. If your project is located on the beach, near water, or within mangroves/wetlands, you will need at least one of these permits.
